Our Story

About Samarpan Music

Music is a lifelong journey. It is not a destination you arrive at, but a companion that grows with you — through your first hesitant swara, through years of patient riyaz, and through every performance that follows. At Samarpan Music, we honour that journey rather than rushing it.

Hindustani Classical Music develops discipline, creativity, and self-expression. The daily practice sharpens focus and listening; the ragas open up an emotional vocabulary that words rarely reach; and improvisation teaches you to trust your own voice while staying faithful to a tradition centuries old.

Every student receives personalised guidance in a warm and encouraging learning environment. Lessons are shaped around your voice, your pace and your goals — whether you sing for the pure love of it, for the stage, or simply to bring a little more stillness into your week.

Testimonials

In their own words

Students who arrived curious and stayed for the music.

This has been a life-changing musical journey.

I came in barely able to hold a note. Two years later I performed my first full raga in front of an audience. The patience and structure made all the difference.

The teaching style is patient, inspiring, and deeply rooted in tradition.

Nothing is rushed and nothing is diluted. You learn the old way, with the corrections and the discipline, but explained so clearly that it never feels intimidating.

RIRahul IyerAdult learner · Online

I gained confidence both in music and performance.

The baithaks were terrifying at first. Now I look forward to them. Singing in front of people has changed how I carry myself everywhere else too.
